OB & HR MDP: Leadership Excellence and Conversational Skills

Good leaders have always been expected to be able to solve new problems, capitalize on new opportunities and navigate through the ever-changing landscape of business. Leadership is a complex process by which the leader influences others to perform and achieve common goals. This "Leadership Excellence and Conversational Skills" development programme by Dept. of HR & OB, CIMP will capture and discuss the leadership concepts to enable officers more efficient and effective in their day to day handling of organizational tasks. This programme will try to develop skills, abilities, styles and knowledge towards handling challenges in the real organizational scenarios.

After this training the participants will be able:

  • To define leadership as a process and various perspectives of leadership
  • To know the personal side of leadership
  • To learn how to develop leadership in self and others
  • To handle various business situations being a leader, as a: relationship builder, transformer, communicator, strategist, change manager, motivator etc.

This programme has been designed for those who have ambition to emerge and evolve as leaders/effective managers and rising along the hierarchical ladder in their respective careers. We develop and deliver customized executive training to equip executives/managers/officers with the necessary knowledge to evolve as successful individual in the organizational setting. Thus, the program has been designed for the individuals serving on junior/middle/senior management level positions.

Course eligibility

Age Limit:20 to 45 years; minimum qualification: Graduation in any subject

The rate of per day per participant is INR 5000/- plus GST @18%

Prof.(Dr.) Jyoti Verma, Assistant Professor, CIMP

She is associated as Assistant Professor at Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), Bihar, India. She teaches Human Resource Management, Leadership, Learning and Development, Performance Management Systems and Research Methodology to postgraduate students and research scholars. Her research interest lies in exploring Performance Management Systems, Knowledge Management, Organizational Ambidexterity, Leadership, and Strategic Human Resource Management. She has published many papers in journals of national and international repute and conference proceedings apart from winning Best Paper Awards at reputed institutes such as IIM Calcutta, IISc., Bangalore, etc. She has imparted corporate training sessions on team-building, leadership, organizational ethics, social responsibility, etc. in various Management Development Programmes.
